The SC2092-400-15 is designed as one member of the SC 2092 series which are silicon controlled rectifiers
It has six features. (1)2A continuous on-state current. (2)15A surge current. (3)Glass passivated water. (4)400V to 600V off-state voltage. (5)Max Igt of 200uA. (6)Package options include LP and LP with formed leads. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its repetitive peak off-state voltage would be 400V. (2)Its repetitive peak reverse voltage would be 400V. (3)Its continuous on-state current at (or below) 85°C case temperature would be 2A. (4)Its surge on-state current would be 15A. (5)Its peak positive gate current (pulse width<=300us) would be 0.2A. (6)Its average gate power dissipation would be 0.3W. (7)Its operating case temperature range would be from -40°C to 110°C. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 125°C. (9)Its lead temperature 3.2mm from case for 10 seconds would be 230°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics (at 25°C case temperature unless otherwise noted) are concluded as follow. (1)Its repetitive peak off-state current would be max 20uA with conditions of Vd=rated Vdrm, Rgk=1kohms. (2)Its repetitive peak reverse current would be max 200uA with conditions of Vr=rated Vrrm, Ig=0. (3)Its gate trigger current would be typ 60uA and max 200uA with conditions of Vaa=6V, Rl=100ohms and tp(g)>=20us. (4)Its gate trigger voltage would be min 0.4V and max 1V with conditons of Vaa=6V, RL=100ohms, Rgk=1kohms and tp(g)>=20us.
