SDA2121-2

The SDA2121-2 is an integrated circuit in CMOS technology which has been especially designed for application in radio equipment. It is a complex PLL component in CMOS technology for processor controlled frequency synthesis.

Features of the SDA2121-2 are:(1)high input sensitivity:50mV on FM and 30mV on AM;(2)high input frequencies:150MHz on FM and 25MHz on AM;(3)extermely fast phase detector with very short anti-backlash pulses;(4)I2C bus;(5)adjustable raster width:<1kHz for AM,<12.5kHz for FM;(6)two-pin oscillator provides connection of a piezoeiectric crystal for reference frequency generation;(7)switchable phase detector polarity;(8)switchable phase detector current;(9)one phase detector output each for FM and AM with the corresponding analog phase detector outputs;(10)open drain switching outputs for 10V.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SDA2121-2 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage:-0.3V to 6V;(2)input voltage:-0.3V to (VDD+0.3)V;(3)power dissipation per output:10mW;(4)total power dissipation:300mW;(5)storage temperature:-40 to 125;(6)output voltage switch outputs:10.5V;(7)supply current:6mA to 10mA;(8)ambient temperature:-25 to 85.
