Si3012-KS

The SI3012-KS is designed as one kind of integrated direct access arrangement (DAA) chipset that belongs to the SI3012 family. SI3012-KS provides a digital, low-cost, solid-state interface to a telephone line and eliminates the need for an analog front end (AFE), an isolation transformer, relays, opto-isolators, and a 2- to 4-wire hybrid. Also it interfaces directly to standard modem DSPs and supports all FCC and JATE out-of-band noise requirements. SI3012-KS can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)V.90 modems; (2)voice mail systems; (3)fax machines; (4)set top boxes.
