General Description
The SMA12 is designed as one kind of 10 to 1000 MHz TO-8 cascadable amplifier with four features:(1)available in surface mount;(2)low noise:2.8 dB(typ.);(3)high gain:16 dB(typ.);(4)medium output power:+8.0 dBm(typ.).And the specifications of this type can be summarized as:(1)frequency(min.):5 to 1000 MHz;(2)small signal gain(min.):16 dB;(3)gain flatness(max.):+/-0.30 dB;(4)noise figure(max.):2.8 dB;(5)power output at 1 dB compression(min.):8.0 dBm;(6)VSWR(max.) input/output:<1.6:1;(7)DC current(max.) at 15 volts:22 mA.
The absolute maximum ratings of the SMA12 are:(1)storage temperature:-62℃ to +125℃;(2)maximum case temperature:125℃;(3)maximum DC voltage:+17 volts;(4)maximum continuous RF input power:+13 dBm;(5)maximum short term RF input power:50 milliwatts(1 minute max.);(6)maximum peak power:0.5 watt(3 usec max.);(7)"S" series burn-in temperature(case):125℃.And the typical intermodulation performance at 25℃ are three points:the first is second order harmonic intercept point:+32 dBm(typ.),the second is second order two tone intercept point:+25 dBm(typ.), and the last one is third order two tone intercept point:+22 dBm(typ.).
