SMG40

The SMG40 is designed as one kind of signal limiter with a discrete hybrid design which uses thin film manufacturing processes for accurate performance and high reliability.This design uses Schottky bridge quad and anti-parallel diodes,which provide consistent limiting levels over a broadband frequency range.Both TO-8 and SMTO-8 packages are hermetically sealed,and MIL-STD-883 environmental screening is available.

Features of the SMG40 are:(1)available in surface mount;(2)low insertion loss at low input levels:30 dB to 3000 MHz(typ.);(3)wide band performance;(4)fast switching:<0.5 usec,10 to 90%(typ.) and <2 usec,0 to 100%(typ.).The absolute maximum ratings of the SMG40 can be summarized as:(1)storage temperature:-62 to +125;(2)case temperature:+125;(3)DC voltage:+18 V;(4)continuous input power:+20 dBm;(5)short term input power(1 minute max.):200 mW;(6)peak power:1 W;(7)"S" series burn-in temperature(case):+125.
