The SN54-74LS13 is designed as one kind of schmitt triggers dual gate / HEX inverter device that belongs to the SN54-74 family. SN54-74LS13 is capable of transforming slowly changing input signals into sharply defined, jitter-free output signals. Additionally, it has greater noise margin than conventional inverters. Also each SN54-74LS13 circuit contains a Schmitt trigger followed by a Darlington level shifter and a phase splitter driving a TTL totem pole output.
