The SN54176 is high-speed monolithic counter.It consist of four d-c coupled master-slave flip-flops which are internally interconnected to provide either a divide-by-two and a divide-by-five counter.

Features of the SN54176 are:(1)performs BCD,Bi-Quinary,or Binary counting;(2)fully programmable;(3)fully independent clear input;(4)counts at input frequencies from 0 to 35 MHz;(5)input clamping diodes simplify system.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN54176 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:7V;(2)input voltage:5.5V;(3)interemitter voltage:5.5V;(4)operating free-air temperature range:-55 to 125;(5)storage temperature:-65 to 150.
