SN54196

The SN54196 is a kind of high-speed monolithic counter which consists of four D-C coupled, master-slave flip-flops, which are internally interconnected to provide either a divide-by-two and a divide-by-five counter.It is fully programmable, this is, the outputs may be preset to any state by placing a low on the count/load input and entering the desired data at the data inputs.

Features of of the SN54196 are:(1)performs BCD, Bi-quinary, or Binary counting; (2)fully programmable; (3)fully independent clear input; (4)input clamping diodes simplify system design; (5)output QA maintains full fan-out capability in addition to driving clock-2 input.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN54196 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage, vcc is 7 V ; (2): input voltage is 5.5 V; (3): storage temperature range is -65 to 150;(4): operating free-air temeprature range is -55 to 125;(5):interemitter voltage is 5.5 V.
