SN54251

The SN54251 is a monolithic ,the monolithic data selectors/multiplexers contain full on-chip binary decoding to select one-of -eight data sources and feature a strobe-controlled three-state output.The strobe must be at a low logic level to enable these devices.The three-state outputs permit a number of outputs to be connected to a common bus.

Features of the SN54251 are:(1)three-state versions of '151,'LS151,'S151; (2)three-state outputs interface directly with system bus; (3)perform parallel-to-serial conversion; (4)perform parallerl-to-serial conversion; (5)permit multiplexing from N-lines to one line; (6)complementary outputs provide true and inverted data; (7)full compatible with most TTL circuits.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN54251 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:7V; (2)input voltage:5.5V; (3)off-state output voltage:5.5mA; (4)storage temperature range:-65 to 150;(5)operating free-air temperature range:-55 to125.
