The SN5446A features active-low designed for driving common-anode LEDs or incandescent indicators directly. The features of the SN5446A are: (1)open-collector outputs drive indicators directly; (2)lamp-test provision; (3)leading/trailing zero suppression.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of SN5446A: (1)supply voltage, VCC: 7V; (2)input voltage: 5.5V; (3)current forced into any output in the off state: 1mA; (4)operating free-air temperature range: -55 to 125; (5)storage temperature range: -65 to 150.
