SN54HCT665 General Description


The SN54HCT665 is a kind of octal bus transceiver which is designed for asynchronous, bidirectional communication between data buses.The SN54HCT665 trasmits data from A bus to B bus or from the B bus to A bus, depending on the level at the direction control input, DIR.

Features of of the SN54HCT665 are:(1)inputs are TTL-voltae compatible; (2)high-current 3-state output drive bus-line directly or up to 15 LSTTL loads; (3)bus-structured pinout; (4)package options include plastic small-outline (D) packages, ceramic chip carriers(FK) and standard plastic(N) and standard plastic and ceramic 300-mil DIPs;(5) dependable texas instruments quality and reliability.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN54HCT665 can be summarized as:(1): DC supply-voltage(Vcc) is -0.5 V to 7 V; (2):input diode current, IIK( for Vi<0 V or Vi>Vcc) is ±20 mA; (3): output diode current, IOK(for Vo<0 V or Vo>Vcc) is ±20 mA; (4): continous output current, IO(Vo is 0 to Vcc) is ±35 mA; (5): storage temperature(Tstg) is -65 to +150.
