The SN54LS245 bistable latch is electrically and functionally identical to the SN54LS75, respectively.Only the arrangement of the terminals has been changed in the SN54LS375.The latch is ideally suited for use as temporary storage for binary information between processing units and input/output or indicator units.

The electrical specifications of the SN54LS245 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage, Vcc is 4.5 V min, 5 V typ and 5.5 V max; (2): high-level input voltage(VIH) is 2 V min; (3): low-level input voltage, VIL is 0.7 V max; (4): high-level output current, IOH is -0.4 mA max; (5): low-level output current(IOL) is 20 ns min; (6): setup time is 20 ns min.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN54LS245 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage, vcc is 7 V ; (2): input voltage is 7 V; (3): storage temperature range is -65 to 150;(4): operating free-air temeprature range is -55 to 125.
