SN7406NS is one of the SN7406 series.The SN7406NS TTL hex inverter buffers/drivers feature
high-voltage open-collector outputs for interfacing with high-level circuits (such as MOS) or for driving high-current loads (such as lamps or relays), and also are characterized for use as inverter buffers for driving TTL inputs.

Features of the SN7406NS are:(1)convert TTL Voltage Levels to MOS Levels; (2) High Sink-Current Capability; (3) Input Clamping Diodes Simplify System Design; (4) Open-Collector Drivers for Indicator Lamps and Relays; (5) Inputs Fully Compatible With Most TTL Circuits.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN7406NS can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:7V; (2)input voltage:5.5V; (3)operating free-air temperature range:-65to150; (4)storage temperature range:-65 to 150.
