SN74246

The SN74246 is electrically and functionally identical to the SN5446A,and SN5447A respectively ,and have the same pin assignments as their equivalents.It can be used interchangeably in present or future designs to offer designers a choice between two indicatorfonts.

Features of the SN74246 are:(1)open-collector outputs drive indicators directly; (2)lamp-test provision; (3)leading/trailing zero suppression; (4)internal pull-ups eliminate need for external resistors; (5)lamp-test provision; (6)leading/trailing zero suppression; (7)all circuit types feature lamp intensity modulation capability.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN74246 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:7V; (2)input voltage:5.5V; (3)operating free-air temperature range:0 to 70; (4)storage temperature range:-65 to 150.
