SN74298

The SN74298 is a monolithic quadruple two-input multiplexers with storage provide essentially the equivalent functional capabilities of two separate MSI functions in a single 16-pin package.

Features of the SN74298 are :(1)selects one of two 4-bit data sources and stores data synchronously with system clock; (2)dual source for operands and constants in arithmetic processor;can release processor register files for acquiring new data ; (3)implement separate registers capable of parallel exchange of contents yet retain external load capability; (4)universal type register for implementing various shift patterns;even has compound left.right capabilities.

The absolute maximum ratings of the SN74298 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage,VCC:7V; (2)input voltage:5.5V; (3)operating free-air temperature range:0 to70; (4)storage tempeature:-65 to 150.
