SP690ACN

The SP690ACN is designed as one kind of microprocessor (uP) supervisory circuits that integrate a myriad of components involved in discrete solutions to monitor power supply and battery-control functions in uP and digital systems.

It has eleven features. (1)Precision voltage monitor 4.65V. (2)Reset time delay 200ms. (3)Its watchdog timer 1.6 second timeout. (4)Minimum component count. (5)60uA maximum operating operating supply current. (6)0.6uA maximum battery backup current. (7)0.1uA maximum battery standby current. (8)Power switching 250mA output in Vcc mode (0.6ohms) and 25mA output in battery mode (5ohms). (9)Voltage monitor for power fail or low battery warning. (10)Available in 8-pin SO and DIP packages. (11)RESET asserted down to Vcc=1V. (12)Pin compatible upgrades to MAX690A. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its Vcc would be from -0.3V to 6.0V. (2)Its Vbatt would be from -0.3V to 6.0V. (3)Its all other inputs would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (4)Its input current would be 250mA for Vcc and 50mA for Vbatt and 20mA for GND. (5)Its output current would be 20mA and rate of rise, Vcc, Vbatt would be 100V/us. (6)Its continuous power dissipation would be 500mW. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 160°C. (8)ITs lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be 300°C. (9)Its ESD rating would be 4KV. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating voltage range would be min 0V and max 5.5V. (2)Its supply current would be typ 35uA and max 60uA. (3)Its Isupply in battery backup mode would be typ 0.001uA and max 0.6uA. (4)Its Vbatt standby current would be min -0.1uA and max 0.02uA. And so on.
