SP8629

The SP8629 is a kind of ECL counter which provides a TTL compatible output, high input sensitivity and low power consumption. Pin compatible with DM8629, it features a much lower power consumption. There are some features as follows: (1)TTL/CMOS compatible output; (2)high input sensitivity; (3)ideal frequency counter prescaler; (4)on chip zener diode.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings of SP8629: (1)supply voltage (pins 1 and 8): 8 V; (2)output current: 40 mA; (3)storage temperature range: -55 to +125; (4)maximum junction temperature: +175; (5)maximum clock I/P voltage: 2.5 Vp-p.

The last one is about the electrical characteristics of SP8629 (supply voltage: VCC=5.2 V±0.52 V, VEE=0 V, temperature: Tamb=-40 to +85): (1)maximum toggle frequency sinewave input, fmax: 150 MHz min at input=200 to 1000 mVp-p; (2)minimum toggle frequency sinewave input, fmin: 10 MHz max at input=600 to 1000 mVp-p; (3)power supply current, IEE: 45 mA max; (4)output short circuit current, IOS: -10 mA min and -40 mA max at VCC=5.72 V; (5)internal zener voltage, VZ: 5.85 V min and 6.65 V max.
