SPG series

The SPG series is produced by the EPSON, it has some features such as:(1)capable of selecting 57 varieties of frequency output;(2)use of CMOS IC enables low current consumption;(3)easy-to-mount DIP 16 pin type;(4)most types held ex-stock.

Specifications of the SPG series can be summerized as:(1)oscillation source frequency:100 KHz;(2)power source Max. supply voltage:-0/3V to +7.0V;(3)operating voltage:5.0V±0.5V;(4)storage temp:-55°C to +125°C;(5)operating temp:-10°C to +70°C;(6)soldering condition (lead part):under 260°C within 10 sec;(7)frequency tolerance:±50ppm;(8)frequency/temp. characteristics:+10/-120ppm;(9)frequency voltage characteristics:±10ppm;(10)aging:±5ppm/year max;(11)current consumption:0.5mA.

Electrical characteristics of the SPG series are:(1)L input voltage:0 to 0.8 V;(2)H input voltage:VDD-1.0 to VDD;(3)L input current (reset):-30 to -5 A;(4)H input current (reset):0.5 A;(5)min. reset pulse width:1.0 S;(6)reset delay time:1.0S;(7)external signal input frequency: 1M Hz(8640N only);(8)oscillation startup time:0.2 sec;(9)reset delay time:1.0S.Note: treatment of empty terminals. When RESET terminal is not used, this should be connected to VDD, when TEST terminal, CSEL terminal, and CTL1 to 6 terminals are not used, to GND.
