The T-7290A is a fully integrated line trandcelver capable of operation at the domestic DS1/T1 carrler rate or the international CEPT1 rate.The T-7290A device combines features found in existing line-interface devices and adds other desirable features.

Features of the T-7290A are:(1)fully integrated ISDN DS1/T1/CEPT line interface;(2)dual-rail system interface;(3)on-chip transmit equalization;(4)on-chip jitter attenuator;(5)monolithic clock recovery with acqulsition aide;(6)high jitter accommodation;(7)no external crystal required;(8)lookback modes for fault isolation;(9)three clocking modes to accommodate any system clocking requirements;(10)multiple link status and alarm features;(11)microprocessor interface option for control features;(12)AIS transmission;(13)minimal external circuitry required.
