The TA8052AS is a full-bridge driver which directly drives a bidirectional DC motor. Since the inputs are TTL-compatible, the IC can be directly controlled from a CPU or other control system. The IC also has various protective functions. Inputs DI1 and DI2 are combined to select one of forward, reverse, stop, and brake modes.
The features of TA8052AS can be summarized as (1)output current: 300mA; (2)four modes: forward reverse stop and brake; (3)multiple protective functions: Thermal shutdown, current limiter, and overvoltage shut down; (4)bulit-in diode for counteracting counter electromotive force; (5)small SIP-7 pin; (6)low standby current: 100A(max.).
