TC9404FN

The TC9404FN is designed as a 2nd order - modulation system 1bit DA converter with a built-in 8 times oversampling FIR type digital filter developed for digital audio equipment. Because the IC includes an analog filter, it can output a direct analog waveform, thus reducing the size and cost of the DA converter.

It has many features. (1)Built-in 8 times over-sampling digital filter. (2)Low voltage operates (2.7 to 5.5V) possible. (3)Built-in digital de-emphasis filter. (4)In serial mode, output amplitude can be set in 128 steps of resolution using microcontroller command. (5)In parallel mode, soft mute can beset for the output signal in 64 steps in 20ms. (6)Built-in LR common digital zero detection output circuit. (7)Over sampling ratio (OSR) of - modulation circuit is 192fs. (8)Support double speed operation. And so on.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3 to 6.0V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. (3)Its power dissipation would be 200mW. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from -35°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be min 4.5V and typ 5.00V and max 5.5V. (2)Its power dissipation would be typ 12mA and max 20mA. (3)Its input voltage high would be min 0.7Vdd and max Vdd. (4)Its input voltage low would be min 0V and max 0.3Vdd. (5)Its input current high would be min -10uA and max 10uA. (6)Its input current low would be min -10uA and max 10uA. (7)Its S/N ratio would be min 88dB and typ 96dB. (8)Its dynamic range would be min 90dB and typ 95dB.
