TCD1205D

The TCD1205D is designed as a high sensitive and low dark current 2048 elements CCD image sensor. The TCD1205D sensor can be used for POS handscanner.

TCD1205D has six features. (1)Number of image sensing elements is 2048. (2)Image sensing elements size is 14um by 200um on 14um centers. (3)Photo sensing region is high sensitive and low dark current pn photodiode. (4)Clock is 2 phase (5V). (5)Package is 22 pin CERDIP. (6)Internal circuit is electronic shutter function (ICG). Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD1205D have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (2)Its shift pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (4)Its integration clear gate pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (5)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 60°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD1205D are concluded as follow. (1)sensitivity would be min 64V and typ 80V. (2)Its photo response non uniformity would be max 10%. (3)Its saturation exposure would be min 0.006lxs and typ 0.01lxs. (4)Its saturation output voltage would be min 0.55V and typ 0.8V. (5)Its dark signal voltage would be typ 2mV and max 5mV. (6)Its total transfer efficiency would be min 92% and typ 95%. (7)Its dynamic range would be typ 400. (8)Its output impedance would be typ 0.5kohms and max 1kohms. (9)Its DC signal output voltage would be min 1.5V and typ 3.0V and max 4.5V. (10)Its DC power dissipation would be max 25mW. And so on.
