TCD2255D

The TCD2255D is designed as high sensitive and low dark current 2700 elements x3 lines CCD color image sensor which includes CCD drive circuit, clamp circuit and sample&hold circuit.

TCD2255D has nine features. (1)Number of image sensing elements is 2700 elements x3 lines. (2)Image sensing element size is 8um by 8um on 8um centers. (3)Photo sensing region is high sensitive and low dark current pn photodiode. (4)Distance between photodiode array is 32um (4 lines). (5)Clock 2 phase (5V). (6)Internal circuit sample&hold circuit, clamp circuit and eletric shutter function. (7)Package is 22 pin CERDIP. (8)Color filter is red, green, blue. (9)Power supply is 12V power supply voltage. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD2255D have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (2)Its shift pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (4)Its sample and hold pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (5)Its electrical shutter voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (6)Its clamp pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (7)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 15V. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 60°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD2255D are concluded as follow. (1)Its sensitivity (red) would be min 9.1V and typ 13.0V and max 16.9V. (2)Its sensitivity green would be min 11.4V and typ 16.3V and max 21.2V. (3)Its sensitivity blue would be min 4.0V and typ 5.7V and max 7.4V. (4)Its photo response non uniformity would be typ 10% and max 20%. (5)Its saturation output voltage would be min 1.7V and typ 2.0V. And so on.
