TCD2300C

The TCD2300C is designed as a high sensitive and low dark current 3648 elements x3 lines CCD color image sensor which includes sample-and-hold circuit and clamp circuit. Ths sensor is for color scanner.

TCD2300C has eight features. (1)Number of image sensing elements is 3648 elements x3 lines. (2)Image sensing element size is 8um by 8um on 8um centers. (3)Photo sensing region is high sensitive pn photodiode. (4)Distance between photodiode array is 96um (12 lines). (5)Clock 2 phase (5V). (6)Internal circuit sample&hold circuit, clamp circuit. (7)Package is 22 pin DIP. (8)Color filter is red, green, blue. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD2300C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (2)Its shift pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (4)Its sample and hold pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (5)Its switch pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (6)Its clamp pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (7)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 15V. (8)Its operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 60°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD2300C are concluded as follow. (1)Its sensitivity (red) would be typ 1.1V. (2)Its sensitivity green would be typ 1.4V. (3)Its sensitivity blue would be typ 0.5V. (4)Its photo response non uniformity would be typ 10% and max 20%. (5)Its register imbalance would be max 3%.
