The TSC390AL is designed as one kind of dual interface buffers which offers open collector NPN transistor outputs with 20V sustaining voltage and high current sink capability. Low input current and wide supply voltage range make it ideal for interfacing with CMOS or with other HiNIL logic.

TSC390AL has six features. (1)High current sink capability 250mA drives relays, lamps, solenoids, memories, clock lines. (2)CMOS compatible inputs which would be less than 0.6mA at Vcc=10V. (3)Wide operating supply range 10V to 16V. (4)High noise immunity 3.5V min at Vcc=11V. (5)Full range of logic function available. (6)Dual configuration saves board space, package count. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TSC390AL have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its continuous supply voltage would be 16.5V. (2)Its operating supply voltage range would be from 10V to 16V. (3)Its pulsed supply voltage less than 100ms would be 18V. (4)Its output voltage to GND (Io less than 100uA) would be 30V. (5)Its input voltage any input would be from -0.5V to 18V. (6)Its continuous output sink current would be 250mA. (7)Its surge output sink current (less than 100ms at 25°C Ta) would be 300mA. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (9)Its operating temperature range would be from -30°C to 70°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
