TW9906

The TW9906 is designed as a high quality NTSC/PAL,/SECAM multi-standard video decoder plus YCbCr component inputs designed for multimedia applications.

TW9906 has many features. (1)NTSC (M, 4.43) and PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N, N combination), PAL (60), SECAM support with automatic format detection. (2)Advanced synchronization processing for VCR trick mode and weak signal. (3)Three 10bit ADCs with clamping circuit and anti-aliasing filter. (4)Fully programmable static or automatic gain control for the Y channel. (5)Programmable white peak control for the Y channel. (6)Adaptive 4H comb filter for the best image quality. (7)PAL delay line for color phase error correction. (8)Digital sub-carrier PLL for accurate color decoding. (9)Digital Horizontal PLL and advanced synchronization processing for non-standard video signals. (10)Programmable hue, brightness, saturation, contrast, and sharpness. And so on.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TW9906 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its AVDD (measured to AVSS) would be max 3.0V. (2)Its Vdd (measured to DVSS) would be max 4.0V. (3)Its voltage on any signal pin would be min DVSS-0.5V and max Vddm+0.5V. (4)Its analog input voltage would be min AVSS-0.5V to Vddam+0.5V. (5)Its storage temperature range would be min -65°C and max +150°C. (6)Its junction temperature would be max +125°C. (7)Its Vapor phase soldering (15 seconds) would be +220°C. TW9906 should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some characteristics of TW9906 are concluded as follow. (1)Its power supply IO PAD would be min 3.15V and typ 3.3V and max 3.6V. (2)Its power supply analog PLL would be min 3.15V and typ 3.3V and max 3.45V. (3)Its power supply analog ADC would be min 2.4V and typ 2.5V and max 2.8V. (4)Its power supply digital core would be min 2.3V and typ 2.5V and max 2.6V. (5)Its maximum |Vdd-AVDD| would be max 0.3V. And so on.
