The UPD6467GR is a CMOS LSI for on-screen character display, and can be used in combination with a microcomputer to display the tape counter, time, and date in the view finder of a video camera, or the time of a video tape,messages such as dates on pictures, and channel number on a TV screen.In addition,the UPD6467GR is also equipped with a power-ON clear function and a video RAM batch clear command so that it can mitigate the workload of the microcomputer.The UPD6467GR is compatible with the existing models, and the software resources for the existing models can be used.
