VC16374ADGG General Description


The VC16374ADGG is designed as a 16-bit edge-triggered flip-flop featuring separate D-type inputs for each flip-flop and 3-State outputs for bus oriented applications. It consists of 2 sections of eight positive edge-triggered flip-flops. A clock (CP) input and an output enable (OE) are provided for each octal.

It has nine fetaures. (1)5 volt tolerant inputs/outputs for interfacing with 5V logic. (2)Wide supply voltage range of 1.2V to 3.6V. (3)Complies with JEDEC standard no.8-1A. (4)CMOS low power consumption. (5)MULTIBYTETM flow-through standard pin-out architecture. (6)Low inductance multiple power and ground pins for minimum noise and ground bounce. (7)Direct interface with TTL levels. (8)All data inputs have bus hold. (9)High impedance when Vcc=0. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its DC supply voltage would be from -0.5V to 6.5V. (2)Its DC input diode current would be -50mA. (3)Its DC input voltage would be from -0.5V to 6.5V. (4)Its DC output diode current would be +/-50mA. (5)Its DC output voltage output high or low state would be from -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V. (6)Its DC output voltage output 3-state would be from -0.5V to 6.5V. (7)Its DC output source or sink current would be +/-50mA. (8)Its DC Vcc or GND current would be +/-100mA. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (10)Its power dissipation would be 500mW. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage would be min Vcc at Vcc=1.2V and would be min 2.0V at Vcc=2.7V to 3.6V. (2)Its low level input voltage would be max GND at Vcc=1.2V and would be max 0.8V at Vcc=2.7V to 3.6V. (3)Its input leakage current would be typ +/-0.1uA and max +/-5uA. And so on.
