      The VZU-6994 is designed as a up to 400 Watt TWT medium power amplifier which has the features of high efficiency in a compact package.
      VZU-6994 has six features.The first one is compact which would provides up to 400 watts of power in a 3 rack unit package, digital ready, for wideband, singleand multi-carrier satellite service in the Ku-Band frequency range. Ideal for transportable and fixed earth station applications where space and prime power are at a premium.The second one is that it will be efficient through employing a high efficiency dual-depressed collector helix traveling wave tube backed by many years of field-proven experience in airborne and military applications.The third one is that it would be simple to operate.With integrated computer interface,The user would be easy to understand the user-friendly microprocessor-controlled logic which also has digital metering, pin diode attenuation and optional integrated linearizer for improved intermodulation performance.The fourth one is about its global applications.It meets International Safety Standard EN-60215,electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and harmonic standard EN-61000-3-2 to satisfy worldwide requirements.Then the next one is it would be easy to maintain.With convenient and clearly visible indicators behind front panel door for easy maintainability in the field,the modular design and built-in fault diagnostic capability woule make the costumers feel good.The last one is about its worldwide support.The CPI company has a worldwide 24-hour customer support network that includes sixteen regional factory service centers and also has three decades of satellite communi cations experience.
      Some important specifications of VZU-6994  have been concluded into several points.The first one is frequency which would be 13.75 to 14.50 GHz, 12.75 to 14.50 GHz,or 14.7 to 15.2 GHz.The second one is its bandwidth 500 to 1750 MHz, depending on configuration.The third one is its primary power which should be 110 - 240 VAC ±10%,single phase 47-63 Hz (100 VAC optional).The fourth one is ambient temperature which would be -10° to +50°C when operating and -40° to +70°C when non-operating.
