W78C154

The W78C154 is an single-chip 8-bit microcontroller that is functionally compatible with the standard 80C52 microcontroller series.Like the W78C52,the W78C154 has the following features(except that it has 16K bytes of on-chip ROM,and P1.6 and P1.7 are open-drain output.It has two power reduction modes, idle mode and power-down mode,both of which are software slectable.The idle mode turns off the processor clcok but allows for continued peripheral operation.The power-down mode stops the crystal oscillator for minimum power consumption.The external clcok can be stopped at any time and in any stte without affecting the processor.

W78C154 has many unique features: The first one is 8-bit CMOS microcontroller.The second one is fully static design.The third one is low standby current at full supply voltage.The forth one is DC-40 MHz operation.The fifth one is 2256 bytes of on-chip scratchpad RAM.The sixth one is 16K bytes of on-chip mask ROM.The seventh one is four 8-bit bidireactional ports,etc.

There are some absolute maixmum ratings about W78C154.DC power supply(VDD-VSS) is -0.3 V min and 7.0 V max. Input voltage(Vin) is Vss-0.3 v min and VDD+0.3 V max.Operating temperature(Ta) is 0 to 70.Storage temperature(Tstg) is -55 to 150.
