The WD1100-09 data separator support logic,when used with the other chips in the WD1100 series,greatly reduces the external discrete logic requried to design a Wichester hard disk data separator.The chip provides the pump signals to an external error amplifier, control signals to an internal bus and a special drie selection signal also to an internal bus.The WE1100-09 is fabricated in NMOS silicon gate technology and is available in a 20 pin plastic or ceramic package.

WD1100-09 has five unique features: The first one is single 5 V supply.The second one is drun generation.The third one is data separation control signals.The forth one is 20 pin DIP package.Besides,there are some absolute maximum ratings about it.Ambient temperature under bias is 0 to 50.Voltage on amy pin with respect to Vss is -0.2 V to 7.0 V. Power dissipation is 1 watt.
