The 30WQ03FN surface mount Schottky rectifier has been designed for applications requiring low forward drop and small foot prints on PC board. Typical applications are in disk drives, switching power supplies, converters, free-wheeling diodes, battery charging, and reverse battery protection.

30WQ03FNPBF General Description

      The 30WQ03FNPbF is a surface mount schottky rectifier which needs low forward drop and small foot prints on PC board when applied. It is widely used in disk drives, switching power supplies, converters,freewheeling diodes, battery charging and reverse battery.
      Then you can get some information about the features.There are seven features as follows.The first one is that it has popular D-PAK outline.The second one is that it has small foot print and its surface is mountable.The third one is that it has low forward voltage drop.The fourth one is that it has high frequency operation.The fifth one is that it has guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long term reliability.The sixth one is that it has Lead (Pb)-free ("PbF" suffix).The last one is that it is designed and qualified for AEC Q101 level.
      The following is about the product summary.I_F(AV) is 3.5A and V_R is 30V.
      You have to get some detail information about the major ratings and characteristics if you want to purchase the product.It has five major ratings.The first one is I_F(AV) which is 3.5V at rectangular waveform.The second one is V_RRM which is 30V.The third one is I_FSMwhich is 535A on the condition that t_p = 5 s sine.The fourth one is V_Fwhich is 0.35V when 3 Apk and T_J = 125 .The fifth one is about the TJ which ranges from - 40 to 150 .Next is about the voltage ratings.Maximum DC reverse voltage and Maximum working peak reverse voltage are both 30V.

Following any rated load condition and with rated V_RRM applied I_FSM is 535A at 5 s sine or 3 s rect. pulse and 90A at 10 ms sine or 6 ms rect. pulse.The third one is about the non-repetitive avalanche energy which is 8mJ when TJ = 25 °C, I_AS = 2 A and L = 4 mH.The fourth one is about the repetitive avalanche current which is 1.0A on the condition that current decaying linearly to zero in 1 s and frequency limited by T_Jmaximum V_A = 1.5 x V_R typical 1.0A.
