The 4081B is designed to be quad 2-input AND.Something about its inputs and outputs is that when the input is 1 1 1 1..,the output is 1.When the input is all other combinations, the output is 0.
It has three features.The first one is that it would have buffered outputs.The second one is that it would have diode protection on all inputs.And the last one is that it would be fully "B" series compatible.That are all the features.
There are some important recommended operating ratings for maximum reliability about it.The first one is about its DC supply voltage which would have the minimum of 3V and the maximum of 15V which means the range would be from 3 to 15V.And the second one is about its operating temperature is different for C and E. For C, the temperature must between -55 and 125 °C. And for E, the temperature must between -40 and 85°C. There are also some electricial characteristics for its static characteristics and dynamic characteristics. For static characteristics, the quiescent device current has the max of 0.05 uAdc at T(low) and has a typ. of 0.0005 uAdc and a max. of 0.05 uAdc at +25°C and has the max. of 1.5 uAdc when Vdd is 5.It also has the max of 0.10 uAdc at T(low) and has a typ. of 0.001 uAdc and a max. of 0.10 uAdc at +25°C and has the max. of 3.0 uAdc when Vdd is 10.And it would have the max of 0.2 uAdc at T(low) and has a typ. of 0.002 uAdc and a max. of 0.2 uAdc at +25°C and has the max. of 6.0 uAdc when Vdd is 15.For dynamic characteristic, the propagation delay time would have the typ. of 120 ns and a max. of 240ns when Vdd is 5.It would also have the typ. of 60 ns and a max. of 120ns when Vdd is 10 and would have the typ. of 45 ns and a max. of 90 ns when Vdd is 15.And the output transition time would have the typ. of 100 ns and a max. of 200ns when Vdd is 5.It would also have the typ. of 50 ns and a max. of 100ns when Vdd is 10 and would have the typ. of 40 ns and a max. of 80 ns when Vdd is 15.
Some notes for the static characteristics.Remaining static electrical characteristics are listed under "4000B Series Family specifications".And the T(LOW) would be -55°C for C and -40°C for E. And the T(high) would be +125°C for C and +85°C for E.
