PCM1739 General Description

The PCM1739 is a CMOS, monolithic, integratedcircuit which includes stereo 24-bit audio digital-to-analog converters and support circuitry in a smallSSOP-28 package. The data converters utilize Burr-Brown's enhanced multi-level delta-sigma architec-ture, which employs 4th-order noise shaping and8-level amplitude quantization to achieve excellentdynamic performance and improved tolerance to clockjitter. The PCM1739 accepts industry-standard audiodata formats with 16- or 24-bit data, providing easyinterfacing to audio DSP and decoder chips. Samplingrates up to 192kHz are supported.
