Chip Resistor Array Adopts Two 0201 Devices in One Package

It is said that Stackpole develops RAVF052D chip resistor array which can provide two 0201 size resistors in a single chip array package.

According to the introduction, the RAVF052D is easier for users to set than the single 0201 chip because of larger size. In addition, using a chip array eliminates one placement compared to a discrete resistor solution, which lowers cost, size, and weight of a given design. Tolerance and TCR tracking are also improved using a chip array solution instead of discrete chips, according to Stackpole. The RAVF052D is available in values ranging from 3 ohms to 1 Megohm, in 5% tolerance and TCRs as low as 200ppm.

With regard to applications and circuit functions, they include memory modules, handheld scanners and barcode readers, test equipment, base stations, telecom and datacom networking equipment, cordless phones, wireless network equipment, and Bluetooth cordless devices.

The price of RAVF052D is $0.023 each in full reel quantities.
