3650 Series

      The 3650 Series is designed as a new concept from Tyco, which means a range of inductors in values from 1.0 nanohenry to 4.7 microhenries.The 3650 is designed for automatic placement and is available in four package sizes.
      Eight key features of 3650 Series have been concluded as follow.The first one is about its choice of four package sizes.The second one is wire wound construction.The third one is smooth top aids placement.The fourth one is that it would be 1.0NH to 4.7mH value range.The fifth one is laboratory design kits would be available.The sixth one is that it has high Q factor.The seventh one is that it would also has a high S.R.F.The last one is that it would have standard tolerances.
      Some important environmental characteristics of 3650 Series have been concluded into several points.The first one is about its operating temp. range which would be -40°C to +125°C.The second one is about its humidity resistance which include the temperature of 40±2°C,the relative humidity of 90~95%,the time of 96hrs±2hrs which is measured after exposure in the room condition for 2hrs.The third one is about its low temp. storage test which include the temperature of -40±2°C,the tme of 48±2hrs which the inductors are to be tested after 1 hour at room temperature.The fourth one is about its drop test which has the specifications that after test, there shall be no evidence of electrical or mechanical damage with the test method that drop once for each face and once for each corner. Total drop 10 Times and drop height is 100cm and the drop weight would be 125g.The fifth one is about its solderability test that has the specification of the terminal should at least be 90% covered with solder with the test method that after fluxing (alpha 100 or equiv), inductor shall be dipped in a melted solder bath at 260±5°C for 5 seconds.The last one is about its resistance to solvent test which has the specification that there shall be no case of deformation change in appearance or obliteration of marking with the test method of MIL-STD202F,METHOD 215D.
