38B7 GROUP

      The 38B7 GROUP is the 8-bit microcomputer based on the 740 familycore technology.The 38B7 GROUP has six 8-bit timers, one 16-bit timer, a fluorescent display automatic display circuit, 16-channel 10-bit A-Dconverter, a serial I/O with automatic transfer function, which are available forcontrolling musical instruments and household appliances.
      The 38B7 GROUP uses the standard 740 family instruction set. Refer to the table of 740 family addressing modes and machine instructions or the 740 Family Software Manual for details on the instruction set. Machine-resident 740 family instructions are as follows:The FST and SLW instruction cannot be used.The STP, WIT, MUL, and DIV instruction can be used.
     38B7 GROUP also has many wonderful features.The minimum instruction execution time is 0.48s(at 8 MHz oscillation frequency). Memory size is 60 K bytes(ROM)and 2048 bytes(RAM).Programmable input or output ports is 75.High-breakdown-voltage output ports is 52.Interrupts is 22 sources, 16 vectors(includes key input interrupt). Timer is 8-bit*6, 16-bit *1. Serial I/O1 (Clock-synchronized) is 8-bit * 1(max. 256-byte automatic transfer function). Serial I/O2 (UART or Clock-synchronized) is 8-bit*1. Serial I/O3 (Clock-synchronized) is 8-bit * 1.A/D converter is 10-bit*16 channels.D/A converter is 1 channels. Power dissipation:In high-speed mode is 35 mW(at 4.2 MHz oscillation frequency).In low-speed mode is 60 W (at 32 kHz oscillation frequency, at 3 V power source voltage). Operating temperature rang is from 20°C to 85°C. Power source voltage: In high-speed mode(at 4.2 MHz oscillation frequency and high-speed selected) is 4.0 V to 5.5 V.In middle-speed mode(at 4.2 MHz oscillation frequency and middle-speed selected) is 2.5 V to 5.5 V.In low-speed mode is 2.5 V to 5.5 V(at 32 kHz oscillation frequency).
