40HFL Series

      The 40HFL series is designed as the super fast recovery rectifier which with some of its specifications of Vrrm to be 150-1000V, IF(AV) to be 40Amp,Vf to be 1.95V.
      This series has some important absolute maximum ratings and specifications with the condition of Tj to be 25°C unless stated otherwise which have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its maximum average on-state current which would be 40.0 Amp.The second one is about its peak forward surge current 8.3mS which would be 420 Amp.The third one is about its maximum I 2T for fusing 8.3ms which would be 730 A2/S.The fourth one is about its maximum storage temperature which has the minimum of -40 °C and has the maximum of +125°C which means the range would be from -40 to +125°C.The fifth one is about its maximum juntion temperature which has the minimum of -40 °C and has the maximum of +150°C which means the range would be from -40 to +150°C.
      Some electrical characteristics have been concluded into several points too.The first one is about its maximum forward voltage which would be 1.95V with condition of Ifm to be equal to 40 Amps.The second one is about its repetitive peak off-state current which would be 100 A with condition of Vr to be equal to Vrrm.The third one is about its reverse recovery time SO2 which would be 70 nS.The fourth one is about its reverse recovery time SO5 which would be 180 nS.The fifth one is about its reverse recovery time SO10 which would be 350 nS.The sixth one is about its thermal resistance (Junction to case) which would be 0.6 °C/W.The seventh one is about its mounting torque which would be 2.5 NM.The last one is about its weight which would be 25 grms.That are all the important characteristics.
