      The Extech 421501 Type K Digital Thermometer ,which is wate resistace ,measures temperature with a Type K thermocouple. The thermocouple attaches to the meter with a sub-miniature plug. The meter's display is backlit and includes a Data Hold feature. Other features include Max Temperature and selectable units/resolution. This meter is shipped fully tested and calibrated and, with proper use, will provide years of reliable service.
     There are nine parts of the whole product, which is thermocouple plug , LCD display, power on/off button , resolution select button , maximum reading mode button, rubber protective jacket,  unit of measure o C/ o F select key, backlight activation key , data hold key  while battery compartment and tilt santd on rear of meter.

Temperature Coefficient is 0.1 times the applicable accuracy specifications per ^oC from 0^oC to 18^oC and 28^oC to 50^oC (32^oF to 64^oF and 82^oF to 122^oF). Water resistant housing is gasket protected front panel. Input Protection is 24VAC/DC max. input on any combination of inputs. Reading rate is 2.5 times per second. Thermocouple connection is that meter accepts standard subminiature connector.Operating conditions is from 32^oF to 122^oF (0^oC to 50^oC)(less than 80%RH). Storage conditions is from -4^oF to 140^oF (-20^oC to 60^oC)(less than 70% RH).
