With theMELSEC AnS system,MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC A1SD51S presents its most compactmodular PLC, permitting access to theworld of network technology.

The small size and the communications capability are two important characteristics of the MELSEC AnS. A1SD51S's compactness ensures that A1SD51S occupies less space in the switchgear cabinet and its diverse communication  facilities guarantee flexibility and openness. Expandable from 32 to 1024 inputs/ outputs, this controller is particularly suitable for performing small tomedium automation tasks, very fast automation also being possiblewith the A2ASCPU.

The individual systems canbe installed ina local network (MELSECNET), enabling them to communicate with one another. Thenumber of I/Opoints can thus be increased several times over.

All CPU types A1SD51S can be combined freelywith one another.
