General Description
AAT4608 General Description
The AAT4608 SmartSwitch™ is a member ofAnalogicTech's Application Specific Power MOSFET™ (ASPM™) product family. It is a CurrentLimited P-channel MOSFET power switch designedfor high-side load-switching applications. This switchoperates with inputs ranging from 2.7V to 5.5V, mak-ing it ideal for both 3V and 5V systems. An inte-grated current-limiting circuit protects the input sup-ply against large currents which may cause the sup-ply to fall out of regulation. The AAT4608 is also pro-tected from thermal overload which limits power dis-sipation and junction temperatures. It can be usedto control loads that require up to 1 A. Current limitthreshold is programmed with a resistor from SET toground. The quiescent supply current is typically alow 15µA max.
The AAT4608 is available in a 5 pin SOT-23 spec-ified over -40 to85.
