The AD823ARZ is designed as a dual precision, 16 MHz, JFET input op amp that can operate from a single supply of 3.0 V to 36 V or from dual supplies of ±1.5 V to ±18 V. It has true single-supply capability with an input voltage range extending below ground in single-supply mode. Output voltage swing extends to within 50 mV of each rail for IOUT 100 A, providing outstanding output dynamic range. Typical applications include battery-powered precision instrumentation, photodiode preamps, active filters, 12-bit to 16-bit data acquisition systems and medical instrumentation.
It has seven features. (1) Single-supply operation which means output swings rail-to-rail, input voltage range extends below ground and single-supply capability from 3V to 36V. (2) High load drive which means capacitive load drive of 500 pF, G=+1 and output current of 15mA, 0.5V from supplies. (3) Excellent ac performance on 2.6mA / amplifier -3 dB bandwidth of 16 MHz, G=+1, 350ns settling time to 0.01% (2V step) and slew rate of 22 V/s. (4) Good dc performance. (5) Low distortion: -108 dBc worst harmonic @ 20 kHz. (6) Low noise: 16 nV/Hz @ 10 kHz. (7) No phase inversion with inputs to the supply rails. That are all the main features.
Also some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage is 36V. (2) Its internal power dissipation would be PDIP (N) 1.3W and SOIC (R) 0.9W. (3) Its input voltage (common mode) would be ±VS. (4) Its differential input voltage would be ±1.2V. (5) Its storage temperature range N, R would be from -65°C to +125°C. (6) Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to +85°C. (7) Its lead temperature range (soldering, 10 sec) would be 300°C.
