AD8402A10

The AD8402A10 belongs to the AD8402 series. It provides a single,dual or quad channel,256 position digitally controlled variable resistor (VR) device. It is available in both SO-14 surface mount package and the 14-lead plastic DIP package. It can be used in many occasions such as mechanical potentiometer replacement,programmable filters, delays, time constants,volume control, panning,line impedance matching and power supply adjustment.

There are some features as follows. (1) 256 position; (2) replaces 1,2 or 4 potentiometers; (3) power shut down: less than 5 mA; (4) 3-wire SPI compatible serial data input; (5) 10 MHz update data loading rate; (6) 2.7 V to +5.5 V single-supply operation; (7) midscale preset.
