General Description
Am29DS32xG General Description
The Am29DS32xG family consists of 32 megabit, 1.8volt-only flash memory devices, organized as2,097,152 words of 16 bits each or 4,194,304 bytes of8 bits each. Word mode data appears on DQ15DQ0;byte mode data appears on DQ7DQ0. The device isdesigned to be programmed in-system with the stan-dard 1.8 volt VCC supply, and can also be programmedin standard EPROM programmers.
The devices are available with an access time of 60,70, 90, or 120 ns. (An 80 ns speed option at the stan-dard voltage range is also available. Contact AMD oran AMD representative for more information.) The de-vices are offered in 48-pin TSOP and 48-ball FBGApackages. Standard control pins-chip enable (CE#),write enable (WE#), and output enable (OE#)-controlnormal read and write operations, and avoid bus con-tention issues.
The devices requires only a single 1.8 volt powersupply for both read and write functions. Internallygenerated and regulated voltages are provided for theprogram and erase operations.
