BA4224

The BA4224 is a monoithic intergrated circuit consisting of the FM IF amplifier,detector,an AM mixer IF amplifier and detector functions used in radio cassette recorders.

There are some features as follows.First is wide operating voltage range (V_CC=4 to 15 V).Secondly,the AM section uses a double-balanced mixer for good usable sensitivity.Then is high FM sensitivity.Next is high AM sensitivity and S/N ratio.Besides,an internal 5.2 V regulated supply can be used for the front and circuitry as well.The last one is few external components.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings (T_a=25).The V_CC (supply voltage) is 16 V.The P_d (power dissipation) is 550 mW.The T_opr (operating temperature range) is from -25 to 75.The T_stg (storage temperature range) is from -55 to +125.Then is about the recommended operating conditions (T_a=25).The minimum V_CC (supply voltage) is 2.5 V,the typical is 4.0 V and the maximum is 6.0 V.
