General Description
BA9211 General Description
BA9211 is a kind of 10-bit D/A converter with a built-in reference voltage supply.The reference voltage supply circuit is an independent block and it can use an external reference power supply.These ICs have a very fast conversion time.They are for use on machines with a digital-to-analog control system.
Here you can get some information about the features.First is available in DIP22 package.The second is built in reference supply voltage.Besides,the settting speed is as low as 250 ns.At last,it can be used for multiplying.The typical applications include programmable gain amplifiers,programmable attenuators,electrical musical insrtruments,signal generators,servo controllers and digitally controlled power supply.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings (Ta=25).The VCC (power supply voltage) is +5.5 V.The VEE (power supply voltage) is -15 V.The power dissipation (Pd) is 600 mW.The V16,V17 (Ref voltage V16,V17) is from VEE to VCC V.The VIN (logic input pin) is from -5 to VCC V.The Topr (operating temperature) is from -20 to +70.The Tstg (storage temperature) is from -55 to +125.
The following is about the eletrical characteristics (Ta=25,VCC=+5 V,VEE=-12 V).The resolving power is 10 bit.The monotonicity is 10 bit.The typical TCI FS (temperature-to-current coefficient,full scale) is ±50 ppm/.The typical TCVREF (Ref voltage to temperature characteristics) is ±50 ppm/.The minimum VCC (power supply voltage) is 4.75 V,the typical is 5.0 V and the maximum is 5.25 V when VOUT=0 V.The minimum VEE (power supply voltage) is -10.8 V,the typical is -12.0 V and the maximum is -13.2 V when VOUT=0 V.The typical NFS (noise factor) is 0.2 mVrms and the maximum is 1 mVrms at R=1 k.
