The CY7C198 is a kind of high-performance CMOS static RAMs orgranized as 32,768 words by 8 bits.Easy memory expansion of CY7C198 is provided by an active low chip emable and active low output enable and three-state drivers.
Features of the CY7C198 are:(1)automatic powr-down when deselected ; (2)CMOS for optlmum speed/power ; (3)high speed ; (4)low active power; (5)low stanby power; (6)TTL-compatible inputs and outputs; (7)capable of withstanding greater than 2001 V electrostatic discharge.
The absolute maximum ratings of the CY7C198 can be summarized as:(1): storage temperature is -65 to +150; (2): ambietn temperature with power applied is -55 to +125; (3): supply voltage to ground potential (pin 28 to pin 14) is -0.5 V to 7.0 V; (4): DC voltage applied to outputs in high Z state is -0.5 V to 7.0 V ; (5): DC input voltage is -3.0 V to +7.0 V; (6): output current into outputs(LOW) is 20 mA.
