DS90CP22MX-8

The DS90CP22MX-8 is designed as a 2x2 crosspoint switch utilizing LVDS (low voltage differential signaling) technology for low power, high speed operation. Data paths are fully differential from input to output for low noise generation and low pulse width distortion. The non-blocking design allows connection of any input to any output or outputs. LVDS I/O enable high speed data transmission for point-to-point interconnects.

DS90CP22MX-8 has many features. (1) DC - 800 Mbps low jitter, low skew operation. (2) 65 ps (typ) of pk-pk jitter with PRBS = 2^23-1 data pattern at 800 Mbps. (3) Single +3.3V supply. (4) Less than 330 mW (typ) total power dissipation. (5) Non-blocking "switch architecture". (6) Balanced output impedance. (7) Output channel-to-channel skew is 35 ps (typ). (8) Configurable as 2:1 mux, 1:2 demux, repeater or 1:2 signal splitter. (9) LVDS receiver inputs accept LVPECL signals. (10) Fast switch time of 1.2ns (typ). (11) Fast propagation delay of 1.3ns (typ). (12) Receiver input threshold < ±100 mV. (13) Available in 16 lead TSSOP and SOIC packages. (14) Conforms to ANSI/TIA/EIA-644-1995 LVDS standard. (15) Operating temperature would be from -40°C to +85°C. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of DS90CP22MX-8 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage would be from -0.3V to +4V. (2) Its CMOS / TTL input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3) Its LVDS receiver input voltage (IN+, IN-) would be from -0.3V to +4V. (4) Its LVDS driver output voltage (OUT+, OUT-) would be from -0.3V to +4V. (5) Its LVDS output short circuit current would be continuous. (6) Its junction temperature would be +150°C.
