Description

The E910.64/65 is a PWM DC Motor Bridge Controller  to drive external N-channel power-FETs in a full bridge or double independent half bridge configuration. The  IC is designed   for motor applications  in  the automotive  world  as well as for general  purposes. A digital algorithm  for EMC optimation is implemented  to reduce  the generation of high frequency oscillations.


The E910.64/65 features several registers  for programing the parameters of the slew rate regulation. The special switching technology provides two main advantages:

  • Excellent EMC behavior due to the very low RF emission
  • High power efficiency up to 96%
    (both full and rise time down up to < 200ns)

With the  EMC Performance the module developer  will be able to save additional filter components in the power lines  by driving a DC motor. Via SPI access it is possible to  get data related to the diagnosis, treatment of motor and  the Power FET failures. The IC  is able to detect and to handle the follwing failures such as over current, short circuit, open load, over/under voltage and  over temperature. A K-Line or LIN 2.0 Interface connects  the application to the  bus system. There are two versions both with supply voltages up to 40V : E910.64 delivered in SO20 package and E910.65 delivered in SO24 package.
