The HCTL-1100 series is a high erformance, general purpose otion control IC, fabricated in gilent CMOS technology. HCTL-1100  frees he host processor for other tasks y performing all the time- ntensive functions of digital otion control. The program-mability of all control parameters rovides maximum flexibility and quick design of control systems ith a minimum number of mponents. In addition to the CTL-1100, the complete control stem consists of a host rocessor to specify commands,n amplifier, and a motor with an cremental encoder (such as the P HEDS-5XXX, -6XXX, -9XXX ries). No analog compensation r velocity feedback is necessary.
